Fears and Phobias

Most people have things they are a bit funny about.... snakes, spiders, heights, flying, the list is endless.  Sometimes these fears can intensify until they begin to have a major impact on life and prevent an individual from living their life in the way they wish.  These extreme fears may manifest as phobias or panic attacks and can produce very dramatic, overwhelming reactions. 

With panic attacks, the individual commonly feels acute symptoms such as a racing heartbeat, sweating, breathing difficulties, being frozen to the spot and a sense of impending disaster.
